The process of manufacturing EDU Spinners is totally handmade; this is what makes them unique.
We show this process with pictures.
STEP BY STEP
First of all, we need to prepare the six essential parts of the spinner: treble hook, wire shaft, beads, lure bodies, clevis and spinner blades. The preparation of these parts does not need any order, but when we put the parts together, we should start by cutting the stainless steel with a proportional side.
The little ones (number 000) have a slimmer and shorter wire, and the big ones (number 9) have a bigger size. They are used to fish salmon or bass. After we cut the wire precisely, we fold it with a machine in the part where the hook should be put. These high-quality spinners combine the weight and the size in a proportional way. The combination wire-hook will be put on the body lure by pressure.
The spinner body lures are made in brass (among others) and they are manufactured on a specialized studio. After that, we classify them depending on their side on this red screen. We finish the process drying the spinners in an oven at 300 degrees. All the spinners of this artisan, except for the spinners for salmons, are painted in this color, which attract the trout.
The spinner blades are also cut on a die, which prints manufacturer name (Edu). The brass, zinc, copper or stainless steel stripes are previously cut with a bigger or a higher size, depending on the spinner number. We put them on a sheet and the machine cut them.
After that, the spinner blades are painted depending on the different the wide variety of designs the manufacturer offers.
The brass clevis links the wire and the spinner blades. The clevis is also cut, folded and perforated by hand in another special die. The spinner blade and the clevis are repaired and introduced on the wire.
Recap: We start the manufacturing cutting and folding the wire with a special machine. After that, we put the hook by pressure. Next, we put the red bead on the wire and the clevis on the spinner blade hole and, finally, we put both on the steel wire. Once we have prepared all this, we turn the ring and now we have the spinner. This part is made on special machine.
Then, we have to make some different folding phases, so the spinner is ready to use.
